Nanny and Admin Retreat

My Mom came up last Thursday and Friday to Wimberley. We enjoyed two days of just being together. Sydney loved seeing her Nanny and they were busy playing. She is no longer afraid of the stability ball and loves to roll over it on her tummy. Here she is rolling with her sunglasses on! Greg had an Admin Retreat Sunday and Monday. Spouses were invited up on Monday. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay near Austin I highly recommend the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort in Bastrop. I had no idea it was even there. It is located right on the Colorado River with nature trails, horseback riding, pools with lazy river, kid area, fitness room, spa, great food, and daily activities. I could have stayed a few days to take everything in! I actually felt like I was out of Texas a couple of times with the beautiful pine trees and landscaping. Here are a few pics.

Meeting Michael

Greg's close friend, Jonathan Pozzi, came to visit today with his son Michael. Michael will celebrate his 1st Birthday tomorrow so it was really special to see him the day before. This was our first time to see Michael. Sydney welcomed Jonathan and Michael by showing them her stuffed animals. Actually she wanted Jonathan to hold them and she made sure of it. Michael is a very sweet baby and we enjoyed the day together. Later in the evening we decided to take a walk. Sydney was ready to go....sunglasses and all! We made it back right before the lightning got too close. Syd is into sunglasses right now Meeting Michael

Around the house....

Sydney has been such a joy this summer. She is growing and changing everyday. I can't believe that she has grown a whole shoe size in two months. I can't keep up with her! Her language is still improving daily. Here are a few of the words (two words) that she can say......I eat, Mama eat, Dada eat, Elle suit, Sy-Sy (Sydney) suit, No Claude, Go Claude, I tee tee, and so on. She loves to sit and carry on a conversation as well. Just recently I watched her feed her Elmo doll, her toy kitty, and puppy for 30 min from her little kitchen. It was so cute. It is amazing what they pick up! Here are a few pictures around the house. Sydney has fallen in love with Elmo just recently so he is in majority of the pictures. At night she now sleeps with Elle, puppy, kitty (Clau-Clau), and Elmo. It is a real crew! First real boo boo! Elmo bubbles! Walking with Claude Sydney LOVES watermelon!
So happy
Ummmm!!!

Kerrville Trip

We have had a busy week! My cousin Kelsie and her parents invited us to Kerrville for two days. Aunt Dena and Uncle James (Kelsie's parents) recently built a house in Kerrville and plan to retire there once they sell their Houston home. It has been a long time since we got together. Kelsie and I spent time together every summer growing up. Kelsie and Scott have two little ones....Makenna and Maddy. Here are a few pictures of us shopping in Boerne. Today we went to the McKenna Children's Museum in New Braunfels. Hallie and Sydney had a great time! The Museum has so much to offer. I think it is one of the best! Shopping in Boerne
